한국교통대 인권센터, 재학생 인권침해 예방교육 프로그램 운영

【브레이크뉴스 충북】김병주 기자=국립한국교통대학교(총장 직무대리 정기만) 인권센터는 재학생을 대상으로 '인권침해 예방교육'을 추진했다고 2일 밝혔다.

학내 인권존중 의식과 상호존중을 바탕으로 인권침해 사건 사전예방을 위해 2022학년도 1학기 동안 추진되었으며, 이번 교육은 역사 속 인권과 성평등의 가치, 노동자의 인권, 장애인의 인권, 여성의 인권, 학생의 인권, 교수의 인권에 대해 다루었으며, 인간으로서 누구나 차별 없이 보편적으로 누려야 할 인권의 가치에 대해 생각해보는 시간으로 진행됐다.

한국교통대 김의수 인권센터장은 “인권의식 및 인권 감수성 향상을 통해 상호간 존중과 배려문화를 교내에 정착시키고 건강하고 평등한 대학을 위해 앞으로도 인권센터는 재학생 및 교직원의 인권보호를 위한 공식 창구역할을 적극적으로 수행해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
